My Story


I found yoga at mid-life.   After trying a number of different yoga styles, I walked into a steamy power yoga class back in 2003 and haven’t been the same since.  It was a reincarnation of sorts.   After that class I was physically exhausted, emotionally elated, calm, and content at the same time.  I  felt alive.  Now pretty much everything I do is done through the lens and practice of yoga.  I  practice yoga to get grounded; to be challenged; to clear away the cruft and toxins that are just part of everyday life.  I’m rarely disappointed.   Doing yoga always leaves me refreshed, smiling and, I think, a more loving human being.

E-RYT200I went on to become a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT) through the Yoga Alliance and have continued my study with well over 1000 additional hours of training from many internationally known yoga teachers.  Along the way, I’ve become a certified personal trainer and health coach as well.
