Dark Green Protein

Today’s second breakfast: a dark green protein smoothie.

2 cups water
2 handfuls of spring mix or any dark green
1 med. green apple
1/4 cup cashews
1 small/med tomato
1 med stick celery
1 tbs or chia seeds
2 tsp maca powder
2 tbs PureGreen Protein™ powder

Optional:
1 tbs agave nectar
1/2 cup chopped parsley

As usual, go organic and local if at all possible.  I use a Vitamix™ blender so this blends up velvety smooth.  Other blenders might not fair so well.  A Vitamix is a significant investment but has been well worth it for my family.  Get one if you are serious about blending.
